Tomorrow's Champions: Young Guns Take On America's Toughest Classic

This weekend, alongside the pros tearing up the roads and gravel of upstate New York, keep your eyes on a special group of riders sporting our distinctive Classics kit. They're the Verge Junior All Stars – six of the most promising young cyclists in America taking on the legendary Battenkill race.

We've assembled this composite team specifically for Battenkill, giving these talented juniors a chance to test themselves on one of America's most demanding courses. It's a fitting challenge: Battenkill's mix of tarmac and gravel sectors has earned it the nickname "America's Queen of the Classics," and these riders represent the future of American cycling.

"Supporting junior riders has always been central to what we do," explains our VP of Sales & Marketing, Charlie Issendorf. "These young athletes are the future of our sport, and there's no better showcase for their talents than an iconic event like Battenkill."

The Junior All Stars roster features some genuinely exciting talent: Caden Freyre, Angelo Goodwin, Charles Jarm, Drew Kogon, Cormac Nagle, and Aidan Vollmuth. They'll be racing in our Classics kit – a design that pays homage to cycling's greatest one-day races, now available in our online store.

As Battenkill returns to reclaim its place as a cornerstone of American racing, we're proud to help these young riders make their mark. After all, today's junior stars are tomorrow's champions.
