We're excited to announce we've entered into an official sponsorship agreement with WTRL, a prominent organizer of virtual cycling events. This collaboration aims to elevate the virtual cycling experience by bringing together cutting-edge technology, high-performance cycling gear and foster a sense of camaraderie among cyclists worldwide.
The partnership underscores both companies’ commitment to supporting the growing community of virtual cycling enthusiasts, recognizing the need to enhance the virtual cycling experience for participants by providing access to Verge’s innovative apparel, engineered with super airflow mesh panels and quick-dry sweat-wicking technology to keep riders cool, dry and comfortable even during intense exertion.
Under the terms of the partnership, Verge becomes the official custom kit supplier to WTRL’s 25,000+ weekly participants. Riders competing in WTRL virtual races will have the opportunity to design their own unique Verge shorts, jerseys and cycling accessories. Verge’s cutting-edge custom gear is worn by pro riders and promises to bring a new level of apparel performance to virtual events.
“We are thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with WTRL and take virtual cycling to new heights,” said Charlie Issendorf, VP of Sales & Marketing at Verge. “This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to empower cyclists with the best possible gear, whether they’re hitting the road or conquering virtual terrains. We look forward to the opportunity to outfit teams competing in WTRL’s weekly events with their own unique design because if you don’t have a kit, are you really a team?”
WTRL is equally enthusiastic about the collaboration. “Teaming up with Verge allows us to enhance the overall experience for our virtual cycling community,” said Martin Carew, Director at WTRL. “Their commitment to quality and innovation in custom cycling apparel aligns seamlessly with our dedication to delivering exceptional virtual events. Together, we’re excited to elevate the virtual racing experience and set new standards in the world of online cycling competitions.”
