Stepping up for the Brooklyn Prospect Park Series

We at Verge are excited to announce our title sponsorship of the Kissena Prospect Park Series, a long-standing fixture in Brooklyn's cycling community. With over four decades of history, this race series is one of the longest-running in the United States. As the title sponsor, we are committed to enhancing the racing experience for all participants.

The newly renamed Verge Series will continue to take place in Brooklyn's scenic Prospect Park. As part of our sponsorship, we will provide custom kits to the General Classification, Sprint, and King of the Mountains (KOM) race leaders. These kits will feature the traditional yellow, green, and polka-dot colors, respectively, allowing riders to experience the feeling of being a race leader, similar to professional cyclists.

As a Brooklyn-based company, supporting local cycling initiatives is important to us. Charlie Issendorf, our Vice President of Sales & Marketing, explains, "We have enhanced our support by not only offering leader jerseys but also matching leader bibs for that professional appearance. All kits will be crafted from our TOR collection, Verge's premium race apparel, ensuring optimal performance and comfort for riders."

Tom Mains, the Verge Series Race Organizer, highlighted the significance of Verge's support: "Verge's sponsorship means that our participants can don leader kits typically reserved for professional racers. Imagine the thrill of wearing a yellow jersey and bib short, akin to World Tour pros competing in a stage race. With green sprint kits and Verge logo-inspired polka-dot KOM kits also available, more riders have the opportunity to experience the prestige associated with top-stage races worldwide."

The Verge Series is set to kick off on Sunday, March 24th 2024.
